too cold, staying in

2 oils · Woody · Warm spice · code BL-2720

Just three drops, as quick as canceling plans to stay home. Sandalwood gives a smooth wood base, warm like milk, and a single drop of cinnamon adds just enough sweet spice. Good for the bedroom or sofa corner on bitterly cold days. Use a mini diffuser by the bed; for larger rooms keep the 2:1 ratio, and never let cinnamon go beyond a third of the recipe.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Sandalwood 2 · Cinnamon 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Sandalwood 3 · Cinnamon 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Sandalwood 20 · Cinnamon 10 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Skin irritant

Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use too cold, staying in in a diffuser?
Add Sandalwood 2 · Cinnamon 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sandalwood?
Swap sandalwood for cedarwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use too cold, staying in?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
