the storm can wait

3 oils · Floral · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0928

Whatever storms are brewing can wait; tonight you rest. Five drops of blue chamomile open with sweet herbs, mellow like dried apple, frankincense adds a clear resin layer, and geranium adds a touch of green rose. Lovely for an evening after a turbulent week. Tip: run the diffuser while you take a warm shower, and the scent will be waiting when you step out.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Blue chamomile (deeply herbal, bittersweet and a little smoky); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Blue Chamomile 4 · Frankincense 3 · Geranium 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Blue Chamomile 2 · Frankincense 2 · Geranium 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Blue Chamomile 14 · Frankincense 11 · Geranium 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use the storm can wait in a diffuser?
Add Blue Chamomile 4 · Frankincense 3 · Geranium 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of blue chamomile?
Swap blue chamomile for lavender or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use the storm can wait?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
