stuffy nose at sunrise

3 oils · Floral · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-2168

Waking up with a stuffy nose, you're not ready to talk to anyone yet. Eucalyptus radiata and frankincense open together, soft-cool and warm-resinous, while a single drop of lavender keeps everything gentle. Great to switch on the moment you wake, while you brush your teeth and warm up some water. This small recipe suits a mini diffuser; for more coolness, add 1 drop of eucalyptus radiata.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus radiata (gently cool, softer than classic eucalyptus) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

FAQ

How do I use stuffy nose at sunrise in a diffuser?
Add Eucalyptus Radiata 2 · Frankincense 2 · Lavender 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of eucalyptus radiata?
Swap eucalyptus radiata for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use stuffy nose at sunrise?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
