stealing the seat next to you

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · code BL-1619

Fighting for the seat next to him on the sofa. Ylang-ylang and rose, three drops each, bring sweet yellow flowers and silky petals; two drops of lemon are fresh, bright and playful, and one drop of blue chamomile adds a soft herbal, meadow-flower note. The scent is feminine and adorable, great for the living room on a movie night. For a more playful version, add 1 drop of lemon.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); rose (deep, silky and luxurious); blue chamomile (deeply herbal, bittersweet and a little smoky) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
