After a spicy meal, your mouth is still on fire and your heart is full of regret. Three drops of peppermint blow in a refreshing icy stream, and two drops of fennel add sweet anise like an after-dinner candy. Two oils: neat, cool and pleasant. Good for the dining or living room after a spicy hotpot, when the chili smell still lingers. If you prefer sweet over cool, flip it to two peppermint, three fennel.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Fennel (sweet and herbal with a little anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
