Drenched after a downpour, you want a scent that is clean and warm. Tea tree and patchouli split most of it, sharp green meeting damp earth; rosemary adds sharp herbs, and eucalyptus and cinnamon close cool and warmly spiced. Good for the bathroom or living room right when you get home. Mix a bottle ahead and take 5 drops for the diffuser while you take a hot shower.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
