slow trip to Rome

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-0995

A leisurely trip to Rome, no plane ticket required. Three drops of blue chamomile open with mellow herbal sweetness like dried apple, two drops of sandalwood add a creamy wood base, and a single drop of bergamot brightens the whole mix. Perfect for an armchair by the window in the early evening. Tip: run the diffuser with some gentle classical music, and you'll naturally slow down.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Blue chamomile (deeply herbal, bittersweet and a little smoky) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
