No reason at all; simply lazy. Four drops of tea tree give a clean, sharp green scent, and the same amount of clary sage pulls it toward sweet, slightly musky herb, soft and gentle. Two oils in equal parts, as light and tidy as your day off. Good for an afternoon of lying around scrolling, curtains half drawn. If tea tree isn't your thing, cut it to three drops and keep the clary sage as is.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
