passing round two

3 oils · Citrus · Minty · Woody · code BL-1168

Passing round two, and this time it has to happen. Three drops of bergamot open with bright, fresh citrus, two drops of juniper add a green, resinous streak like a conifer forest, and a single drop of spearmint brings sweet coolness. Great for prepping before the next interview round. On the morning of the interview, run the diffuser for a few minutes while you pick your outfit.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use passing round two in a diffuser?
Add Bergamot 3 · Juniper 2 · Spearmint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of bergamot?
Swap bergamot for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use passing round two?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
