part-time homemaker unwind

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-2439

A shoulder-drop moment for whoever runs the household, after a nonstop day. Lavender makes a soft base, while lemongrass and sandalwood stand side by side, one fresh and green, the other a warm, creamy wood. A scent that's both clean and soothing, perfect for the living room in the evening once the chores are done. Take 5 drops each time for the diffuser, make a hot cup of tea, and sit down.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Lavender 4 · Lemongrass 2 · Sandalwood 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Lavender 2 · Lemongrass 1 · Sandalwood 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Lavender 15 · Lemongrass 8 · Sandalwood 8 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use part-time homemaker unwind in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 4 · Lemongrass 2 · Sandalwood 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use part-time homemaker unwind?
Use it after cooking or cleaning, in the bathroom, near the shoe cabinet, or in rooms shared with pets.
