Geranium and eucalyptus stand side by side up top: green rose meets cool, leafy freshness, lemon and lavender follow to keep it bright yet soft, and rosemary adds a sharp herbal edge at the end. This big-batch recipe is meant to be mixed once and used all rainy season, when mosquitoes are at their worst. Each time, take just 5–6 drops of the mix for the living room diffuser and turn it on at dusk.

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
