Leave the day's frustrations on the pillow and sleep them off. Lemongrass and lavender at three drops each open with fresh lemony grass softened by purple flowers; two drops of Roman chamomile leave a gentle sweetness that makes the bedroom feel much cozier. Best about half an hour before bed. If lemongrass still feels too present when you lie down, switch the ratio to two lemongrass, four lavender.

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
