just showered, heading out

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · code BL-1988

Geranium and palmarosa balance at fifteen drops each, fresh pink like skin just out of the shower, and ten drops of bergamot add a bright, clean note. Clean and pleasant, perfect for rushing out the door right after a shower. Premix the 40-drop batch; apply the roller bottle while your skin is still slightly damp so the scent lasts longer, and avoid the sun because of the bergamot.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); palmarosa (sweet and grassy with a rosy note) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Geranium 3 · Palmarosa 3 · Bergamot 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Safety

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use just showered, heading out in a diffuser?
Add Geranium 3 · Palmarosa 3 · Bergamot 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of geranium?
Swap geranium for lavender or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use just showered, heading out?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
