invisible to mosquitoes

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-2635

Citronella leads with bold grass; lemon eucalyptus and lavender stand equally behind, one cool and lemony-grassy, one soft and floral; cedarwood closes with warm, dry wood. A balanced scent for the home office or living room during long evenings. Use the diffuser in a corner near where you sit, running 30 minutes at a time; for the bedroom, use 1 drop less lemon eucalyptus.

How it unfolds

On opening. Citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); lemon eucalyptus (green, lemony and cool, a little like lemongrass) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use invisible to mosquitoes in a diffuser?
Add Citronella 3 · Lemon Eucalyptus 2 · Lavender 2 · Cedarwood 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of citronella?
Swap citronella for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use invisible to mosquitoes?
Diffuse it on the balcony, porch or in the bedroom in the evening; keep the window screens shut for best results.
