Blend recipes · Fresh air & odor control
If you have to hold your breath to open the shoe cabinet, something needs to happen now. Cypress, bergamot and tea tree, one drop each: green wood, elegant citrus and clean greens. Put all three on a cotton ball and set it in a corner of the shoe cabinet. Replace the cotton each week, and set your shoes out in the sun whenever you get the chance.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
