guests gone, home again

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-2462

Once the guests have left, the house needs to go back to being itself. Tea tree and lavender stand side by side, clean green and gentle, while sweet orange and cedarwood split the finish, sweet freshness and warm dry wood. Clear the table, wash the glasses, open the door, then turn on the diffuser. The house will feel calm and familiar again.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use guests gone, home again in a diffuser?
Add Tea Tree 3 · Lavender 3 · Sweet Orange 2 · Cedarwood 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of tea tree?
Swap tea tree for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use guests gone, home again?
Use it after cooking or cleaning, in the bathroom, near the shoe cabinet, or in rooms shared with pets.
