Following Mom to the market early in the morning. Three drops of sweet orange are fresh and juicy, two drops of peppermint are icy like the morning dew, and one drop of basil brings spicy-sweet leaves like a basket of fresh herbs. The scent is simple and warm, great for the kitchen or family dining room. Switch on the diffuser while cooking breakfast; for a softer version, swap the peppermint for spearmint.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
