Blend recipes · Cozy & warm

dry golden autumn sun

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · Warm spice · code BL-2746

Cinnamon and sweet orange sit equally, warm spice meeting sweet freshness, like the dry golden sunshine of late autumn; one drop of juniper adds crisp, dry needles. Good for the living room or porch in the afternoon. Open the door to the sunlight, then start the diffuser; for bigger rooms double it, and for more freshness add 1 drop of sweet orange.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm); juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use dry golden autumn sun in a diffuser?
Add Cinnamon 2 · Sweet Orange 2 · Juniper 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cinnamon?
Swap cinnamon for coriander or pink pepper — same warm spice family. The blend will shift a little: coriander is warm and seedy, lightly sweet, with a whisper of spice.
When is the best time to use dry golden autumn sun?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
