cramming with a runny nose

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Minty · code BL-2095

Studying for exams while sniffling calls for a really airy scent. Eucalyptus opens clear and cool, peppermint and rosemary sharpen your focus, and a drop of lavender keeps everything gentle. Great for your desk at night, next to a pile of study notes and a mug of warm water. Don't put the diffuser right by your face; keep it about an arm's length away and take a 15-minute break after each run.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Eucalyptus 3 · Peppermint 2 · Rosemary 2 · Lavender 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

50 ml room spray
Eucalyptus 11 · Peppermint 8 · Rosemary 8 · Lavender 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use cramming with a runny nose in a diffuser?
Add Eucalyptus 3 · Peppermint 2 · Rosemary 2 · Lavender 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of eucalyptus?
Swap eucalyptus for tea tree or clary sage — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: tea tree is green, medicinal and clean.
When is the best time to use cramming with a runny nose?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
