cool, cool, cooler

2 oils · Minty · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0459

An odd couple that just works: peppermint opens with a bright, ringing chill, and myrrh follows with warm, slightly bitter resin, pulling the scent down to just the right depth. The result is both awake and deep, never as cold as peppermint on its own. Great for hot evenings when you want to unwind and still feel cool. In a small bedroom, use only three drops of peppermint so it doesn't feel sharp when you lie down.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Myrrh (bittersweet, resinous, deep and classic) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Peppermint 4 · Myrrh 3 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Peppermint 3 · Myrrh 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Peppermint 17 · Myrrh 13 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use cool, cool, cooler in a diffuser?
Add Peppermint 4 · Myrrh 3 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of peppermint?
Swap peppermint for spearmint — same minty family. The blend will shift a little: spearmint is sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum.
When is the best time to use cool, cool, cooler?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
