Dinner by candlelight is romantic, unless a third wheel starts buzzing. Citronella opens warm and grassy, lemongrass is zingier and fresher, and tea tree keeps a green-clean note so it never gets too sweet and grassy. Perfect for a porch dinner table or a rooftop at night. Use a tealight oil burner or set a diffuser beside the table, a little away from the food so the scents do not mix.

On opening. Citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
