afternoon breeze chill

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0155

An afternoon breeze drifts through the window, and this blend wants to hold on to that moment. Juicy sweet orange and warm, slightly sweet earthy patchouli share the main role, while eucalyptus adds a cool, airy stream. The scent is cheerful and deep at once, perfect for a balcony or the living room at the end of the day. Open the window to let the breeze in, and place the diffuser near it so the wind carries the scent around the room.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Patchouli 3 · Sweet Orange 3 · Eucalyptus 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Patchouli 2 · Sweet Orange 2 · Eucalyptus 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Patchouli 11 · Sweet Orange 11 · Eucalyptus 8 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use afternoon breeze chill in a diffuser?
Add Patchouli 3 · Sweet Orange 3 · Eucalyptus 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of patchouli?
Swap patchouli for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use afternoon breeze chill?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
