Sweet orange on earthy root, a waft of spicy betel leaf; familiar as grandma's house.
Sitting with grandma as she chews betel, an old Vietnamese custom: juicy sweet orange on an earthy smilax root base, a light waft of spicy betel leaf, and a drop of patchouli as familiar as an old family house. Great for the living room, grandparents' room or family gatherings. Let the diffuser run while you brew a pot of tea; betel leaf is strong, so keep it to exactly one drop.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Betel leaf (green and peppery, a little smoky) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Smilax (warm, earthy and rooty, lightly sweet and rustic); patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Betel Leaf can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
