Blend recipes · Relax

after the rain, balcony air

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · code BL-0520

The rain just stopped, so step onto the balcony and take a deep breath. Basil opens with sweet, spicy green leaf, lemon adds cool fresh peel, and jasmine closes with a sweet layer of white flowers. The three oils split two drops each, neat and refreshing. Good for a summer afternoon after a downpour, when the air is still damp. For a more noticeable floral side, add one drop of jasmine.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
