History

Sandalore belongs to the synthetic sandalwoods built on campholenic aldehyde, a derivative of α-pinene from turpentine. The group also includes Ebanol, Polysantol, Bacdanol and Brahmanol.

In perfumery

Sandalore provides a warm sandalwood base in perfume, soap and cosmetics and blends well with florals and ambers.
