Blend recipes · Easy breathing

stuffy nose, early night

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-2052

Three drops of myrrh open with an unusual warm, earthy note for a breathing blend, tea tree and lemon split two drops each, clean and fresh, and a drop of thyme adds dry herbs. The scent is soft and warm rather than icy, perfect for switching on before an early bedtime. Use eight drops in a bedroom diffuser and set it to turn off after 45 minutes.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Myrrh (bittersweet, resinous, deep and classic) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use stuffy nose, early night in a diffuser?
Add Myrrh 3 · Tea Tree 2 · Lemon 2 · Thyme 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of myrrh?
Swap myrrh for frankincense or vanilla — same resinous & sweet family. The blend will shift a little: frankincense is resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still.
When is the best time to use stuffy nose, early night?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
