slow living, by design

3 oils · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0279

Slow living isn't laziness; it's choosing what matters. Rose leads silky and sweet, sandalwood supports underneath with warm, creamy wood, and two drops of thyme add a spicy herbal note that makes the scent less sweet. The scent is classy and calm, perfect for a reading room or a tea corner. For a regular-size diffuser, use 3, 2 and 1 drops; brew a pot of tea and read a few pages of a paper book while it runs.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Rose (deep, silky and luxurious); thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Rose 4 · Sandalwood 3 · Thyme 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Rose 2 · Sandalwood 2 · Thyme 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Rose 15 · Sandalwood 11 · Thyme 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use slow living, by design in a diffuser?
Add Rose 4 · Sandalwood 3 · Thyme 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rose?
Swap rose for lavender or geranium — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use slow living, by design?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
