A twenty-minute nap done, and it's time to get back in the groove. Thyme, peppermint and lemon split it evenly at three drops each: warm spicy herbs, icy cool and bright tartness blended into one neat wake-up call. Its place is the office, right after the lunch break. Start the diffuser the moment your alarm rings so the scent greets you when you open your eyes; in a small room, cut the thyme to 2 drops.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
