This recipe is meant for a pocket balm more than a diffuser. Lavender opens softly, palmarosa adds a rosy, grassy note, patchouli and geranium deepen the scent, and tea tree keeps it clean. Take it along for evening walks, cafe patios or picnics. Mix with beeswax and carrier oil at a very low dilution, and always patch test on a small area of skin before use.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); palmarosa (sweet and grassy with a rosy note); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
