A neat six drops: citronella leads bold and grassy, eucalyptus cools things down, and patchouli, just one drop, helps the scent stick around longer. Good for door gaps, the entryway and bedroom windows, all the places mosquitoes sneak through when night falls. Put the diffuser right by the window and start it before you switch on the lights; for a warmer tail, raise patchouli to 2 drops.

On opening. Citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
