Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
Minimal but stubborn: three drops of mandarin and one drop of thyme. Mandarin opens sweet and juicy like a freshly peeled segment, and thyme adds a warm, spicy herbal streak so it never turns too candy-like. This blend is made for your desk during sprint weeks. If the herbs take over, switch to 4 mandarin; if you want it bolder and longer-lasting, keep the ratio and add 1 more drop of mandarin when the scent fades.

On opening. Mandarin (gently sweet, softer than orange) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
