Thyme leads with warm, dry herbs; turmeric, lavender and lemon, a drop each, add warm earth, soft florals and bright tang. A slightly unusual scent for creative types working from bed on cold days, laptop on your lap and ideas in your head. Run a mini diffuser by the bed; for a brighter feel, add 1 drop of lemon.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice); turmeric (warm and earthy with a little spice); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
