Blend recipes · Fresh air & odor control

coming home to this

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · code BL-2482

Three oils in equal drops keep things balanced: sharp green tea tree, zingy lemongrass and eucalyptus radiata, cool but softer than regular eucalyptus. The result is a home that smells clean and airy, ready to welcome you after a long day out. Small tip: set the diffuser timer to switch on 15 minutes before you get home, so the scent greets you at the door.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); eucalyptus radiata (gently cool, softer than classic eucalyptus) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Tea Tree 3 · Lemongrass 3 · Eucalyptus Radiata 3 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Tea Tree 2 · Lemongrass 2 · Eucalyptus Radiata 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Tea Tree 10 · Lemongrass 10 · Eucalyptus Radiata 10 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use coming home to this in a diffuser?
Add Tea Tree 3 · Lemongrass 3 · Eucalyptus Radiata 3 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of tea tree?
Swap tea tree for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use coming home to this?
Use it after cooking or cleaning, in the bathroom, near the shoe cabinet, or in rooms shared with pets.
