backyard camping

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · code BL-0190

A tent pitched in the backyard, string lights twinkling. Dry cedarwood and fresh green lemongrass share the main role equally, while juniper adds cool, clean conifer notes like a forest at night. The scent is natural and airy, instantly bringing an outdoor vibe, perfect for a rooftop, a balcony or a living room with the doors open. Place the diffuser somewhere sheltered from the wind and start it about 15 minutes before everyone comes out to sit.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Cedarwood 3 · Lemongrass 3 · Juniper 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Cedarwood 11 · Lemongrass 11 · Juniper 8 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Skin irritant

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use backyard camping in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 3 · Lemongrass 3 · Juniper 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use backyard camping?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
