Drop one grain of sugar and the whole ant army shows up. Cinnamon, tea tree and basil in three equal parts: warm spice, sharp green and spicy leaf, a clear, strong scent. Good for the kitchen, dining table and snack shelf. Dilute with water and a splash of alcohol and wipe the table and along the ant trail after clearing crumbs; keep the solution away from food.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm); basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
