Four in the afternoon is the hour for a cup of tea and a scent with a little charm. Five drops of rosemary bring cool green leaf with a hint of camphor, and five drops of jasmine lay on a sweet white-flower layer, recalling jasmine tea brewed in a clay pot. Good for the desk in the afternoon, when you need to loosen up but not get sleepy. If jasmine takes over, cut it to four drops so rosemary can breathe.

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
