A slightly unusual recipe: three drops of turmeric lead with a warm, earthy, lightly spicy smell like a freshly sliced root. Tea tree adds a sharp green streak, and a single drop of lemongrass flashes a little fresh tartness on top. Good for when you close the laptop after a string of deadlines, tidy the desk, and get ready to cook a proper meal. If turmeric is new to you, start with two drops of turmeric and two drops of lemongrass to ease in.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Turmeric (warm and earthy with a little spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
