Roman chamomile and lavender lead, mild and lightly sweet like an evening floral tea; holy basil, just two drops, leaves a warm, spicy countryside-garden touch. A gentle scent for bedrooms or reading rooms of people who dislike harsh grassy smells. Diffuse 20 minutes before bed; for a stronger countryside note, add 1 drop of holy basil.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); holy basil (warm and spicy with a clove-like edge) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Roman Chamomile 3 · Lavender 3 · Holy Basil 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

FAQ

How do I use sweet-natured bug deterrent in a diffuser?
Add Roman Chamomile 3 · Lavender 3 · Holy Basil 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of Roman chamomile?
Swap Roman chamomile for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use sweet-natured bug deterrent?
Diffuse it on the balcony, porch or in the bedroom in the evening; keep the window screens shut for best results.
