Lemongrass and thyme stand side by side, fresh tang meeting dry herbs, while basil adds a spicy leaf note like a backyard vegetable patch. A very kitchen-y, very Vietnamese scent for the dining room and porch just after sunset. Diffuse near the kitchen window while you cook dinner; for a gentler scent, use 1 drop less thyme, since it is quite strong.

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice); basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass and Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
