happy to mop, honestly

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · code BL-2250

Actually happy to mop, because the floor water smells so good. Eucalyptus opens clear and cool, while sweet orange and basil go hand in hand, cheerful and sweet-spicy like a basket of fresh herbs. On weekend mopping day, add about 8–10 drops to the bucket of floor water. Put the rest in the living room diffuser so the whole place smells fresh.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
