grassy slap for mosquitoes

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Minty · code BL-2616

Citronella hits first, bold and blunt; lavender catches it with soft florals; peppermint and tea tree finish in equal parts, cool and green-clean. Quite strong, good for large living rooms or porches. Start the diffuser when the lights come on, placed near the door; for bedrooms, cut peppermint and tea tree to 3 drops each.

How it unfolds

On opening. Citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use grassy slap for mosquitoes in a diffuser?
Add Citronella 3 · Lavender 2 · Peppermint 2 · Tea Tree 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of citronella?
Swap citronella for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use grassy slap for mosquitoes?
Diffuse it on the balcony, porch or in the bedroom in the evening; keep the window screens shut for best results.
