Just two oils, two drops each: lemon eucalyptus for a cool lemony-grassy scent and lavender to soften and round it out. An easy-to-remember basic recipe for diffuser beginners or small spaces like a rental or home office. Run the diffuser for 20 minutes at dusk; for more florals, raise lavender to 3 drops, and for more cool, do the opposite.

On opening. Lemon eucalyptus (green, lemony and cool, a little like lemongrass) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
