Three kinds of grass in one pot; mosquitoes excuse themselves.
Three kinds of grassy oils in one recipe: warm, spicy ginger grass, bold citronella and bright, fresh lemongrass, and mosquitoes politely excuse themselves. A clean green scent for the porch, the bedroom or the garden in the evening. Let the diffuser run from dusk for about two hours; also clear standing water and close the window screens.

On opening. Citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ginger grass (warm and grassy, slightly spicy with a sweet root note) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
