Blend recipes · Stress relief

latte, minus the jitters

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0698

The smell of a morning latte, without needing another cup. Three drops of coffee oil give a warm roasted-bean aroma, bergamot adds fresh, slightly tea-like peel, and a single drop of clary sage lines it with sweet herb. Good for your desk in the morning or a reading nook. To smell like your favorite cafe, run the diffuser near the window, with a croissant on the side.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Coffee (dark-roasted and warm) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

FAQ

How do I use latte, minus the jitters in a diffuser?
Add Coffee 3 · Bergamot 2 · Clary Sage 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of coffee?
Swap coffee for frankincense or vanilla — same resinous & sweet family. The blend will shift a little: frankincense is resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still.
When is the best time to use latte, minus the jitters?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
