Blend recipes · Easy breathing

cold, please see yourself out

2 oils · Resinous & sweet · Warm spice · code BL-2232

Warm like a trip back to your hometown, with the kitchen smelling of cinnamon. Cinnamon and frankincense split evenly: cinnamon sweet and spicy, frankincense warm and resinous, the two wrapping around each other very smoothly. Great for the living room on winter nights, during holidays like Tet, or when guests are over. Cinnamon is quite strong, so a small room only needs 3 drops of it in the diffuser.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Cinnamon 5 · Frankincense 5 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Cinnamon 2 · Frankincense 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Cinnamon 15 · Frankincense 15 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Skin irritant

Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use cold, please see yourself out in a diffuser?
Add Cinnamon 5 · Frankincense 5 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cinnamon?
Swap cinnamon for coriander or pink pepper — same warm spice family. The blend will shift a little: coriander is warm and seedy, lightly sweet, with a whisper of spice.
When is the best time to use cold, please see yourself out?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
